We have organised exclusive rates for two different hotels for our wedding. The two hotels we have organised this with are our venue: the Inn on the Lake, and the Ullswater Inn, just 5 minutes walk away from our venue making it a perfect place to stay.
Rooms at the Ullswater Inn (cheaper accommodation)

Rooms at our venue
Remember that if you want to book a room at our wedding and receive the best rates you should inform us and we will reserve it for you then you will be contacted by the hotel. We have provided a price breakdown below, but if you are still unsure please get in touch with us and we will inform you how much it will cost.
1 night stay (on the night of the wedding):
With the use of our discount code you will receive 15% off the price of the room. Some examples of the rates with the 15% off can be found below:

2 night stay (on the day before & night of the wedding):
If you book a two night stay you receive a better rate for the room, as well as the 15% off on top of that meaning you get better deal. The standard rooms are not available on the night before the wedding. The rooms available can be found below:

All of these prices include a free cancellations policy. If you want a room for slightly cheaper without cancellation then you can do so.
Getting a taxi or driving home are your two options. There are a few taxi firms based in Keswick, and more in Penrith.
Pre booking your taxi in advance is strongly recommended.
Below are some rough quotes from firms we enquired with.
Davies Taxis Keswick – £65 pickup after 11pm for 8 seater. £63 before 11pm pickup for 4 seater.
Derwent Taxis Keswick –£65 pickup after 11pm for 4 or 8 seater. £40 before 11pm pickup for 4 or 8 seater.
Dakin Taxis Keswick – £60 pickup after 11pm for 4 seater, £40 before 11pm for 4 seater.
Uber does not operate in the Lake District.
The ceremony is at 1:00pm so you will to be at our venue for 12:30pm latest. You can read more about the itinerary of the day here.
The latest you should arrive is 12:30pm. Our ceremony is 1:00pm so make sure you leave plenty of time to get there in time for that!
The day will wrap up at midnight.
We plan to go on an amazing honeymoon and road trip around Japan for the majority of May. If you wish to give us a gift then a contribution to the honeymoon and especially our ramen fund would be amazing. On the day of our wedding there will be a deposit box for you to leave a card.
There are a lot of options! There is accommodation at our venue where we have exclusive rates, accommodation in the village just a few minutes walk away or you can even stay in Keswick just a 25 minute Taxi journey. There is a lot more information about accommodation on our website here.
As the Lake District is a very popular area, we strongly recommend you book your accommodation ASAP to avoid disappointment if you leave it last minute.

Yes parking is available at our venue and it is free of charge for our guests. You can leave your car there overnight.
There is no theme for our wedding, however if you could dress appropriately in smart clothing then that would be really appreciated. Please try to avoid dark green and teal colours.
Plus ones are not permitted unless you have been specifically informed you can bring one. Your wedding invite will be addressed to those with an invitation to the day.
As much as we love your little ones this is an adult only wedding.
There will be a meat option and a vegan option for the wedding breakfast. Please let us know your dietary requirements when you RSVP so that you are happy with your meal.
